## NAME

## DESCRIPTION
[Data::UUID](https://www.chedong.com/phpMan.php/perldoc/Data%3A%3AUUID/markdown) is the OSSP uuid backward compatibility Perl binding to the API of the original
[Data::UUID](https://www.chedong.com/phpMan.php/perldoc/Data%3A%3AUUID/markdown) module. It allows other [Data::UUID](https://www.chedong.com/phpMan.php/perldoc/Data%3A%3AUUID/markdown) based Perl modules to run with [OSSP::uuid](https://www.chedong.com/phpMan.php/perldoc/OSSP%3A%3Auuid/markdown) without
    changes.
