## NAME
       whoami - print effective userid

## SYNOPSIS
       **whoami** [_OPTION_]...

## DESCRIPTION
       Print the user name associated with the current effective user ID.  Same as id **-un**.

       **--help** display this help and exit

### --version
              output version information and exit
