> **TLDR:** Print values of environment variables.
>
- Display key-value pairs of all environment variables:
  `printenv`
- Display the value of a specific variable:
  `printenv {{HOME}}`
- Display the value of a variable and end with NUL instead of newline:
  `printenv {{-0|--null}} {{HOME}}`

## NAME
       printenv - print all or part of environment

## SYNOPSIS
       **printenv** [_OPTION_]... [_VARIABLE_]...

## DESCRIPTION
       Print  the  values  of  the  specified environment VARIABLE(s).  If no VARIABLE is specified,
       print name and value pairs for them all.

### -0 --null
              end each output line with NUL, not newline

       **--help** display this help and exit

### --version
              output version information and exit

       NOTE: your shell may have its own version of printenv, which usually supersedes  the  version
       described  here.  Please refer to your shell's documentation for details about the options it
       supports.
