## NAME
       mkindex - script to process LaTeX index and glossary files

## SYNOPSIS
       **mkindex** _BASENAME_[.idx] ...

## DESCRIPTION
       **mkindex**  runs [**makeindex**(1)](https://www.chedong.com/phpMan.php/man/makeindex/1/markdown) on any index (.idx) or glossary (.glo) files created by TeXing the
       file _BASENAME.tex._

## FILES
       _gind.ist_
              MakeIndex index style file

       _gglo.ist_
              MakeIndex glossary style file
