## NAME
       lkbib - search bibliographic databases

## SYNOPSIS
       **lkbib** [**-n**] [**-i** _fields_] [**-p** _filename_] [**-t** _n_] _key_ ...

## DESCRIPTION
       _lkbib_  searches  bibliographic  databases  for  references  that contain the keys _key_ ... and
       prints any references found on the standard output.  _lkbib_ will search any databases given by
### -p
       ronment variable if it is set, otherwise it is _/usr/dict/papers/Ind_.  For each database _file__‐
       _name_  to  be  searched,  if an index filename_.i_ created by [_indxbib_(1)](https://www.chedong.com/phpMan.php/man/indxbib/1/markdown) exists, then it will be
       searched instead; each index can cover multiple databases.

## OPTIONS
       Whitespace is permitted between a command-line option and its argument.

       **--help** Display a usage message and exit.

### -i
              When searching files for which no index exists, ignore the contents  of  fields  whose
              names are in _string_.

### -p
              Search _filename_.  Multiple **-p** options can be used.

### -t

### -v
### --version
              Display version information and exit.

## ENVIRONMENT
       _REFER_  Default database.

## FILES
       _/usr/dict/papers/Ind_
              Default database to be used if the _REFER_ environment variable is not set.

       filename_.i_
              Index files.
