## NAME
       lessecho - expand metacharacters

## SYNOPSIS
       **lessecho** _[-ox]_ _[-cx]_ _[-pn]_ _[-dn]_ _[-mx]_ _[-nn]_ _[-ex]_ _[-a]_ _file_ _..._

## DESCRIPTION
       _lessecho_  is a program that simply echos its arguments on standard output.  But any metachar‐
       acter in the output is preceded by an "escape" character, which by default is a backslash.

## OPTIONS
       A summary of options is included below.

### -ex
              "-",  no  escape  char  is  used  and arguments containing metachars are surrounded by
              quotes instead.

### -ox
              if the -e- option is specified.

### -cx

### -pn

### -dn

### -mx

### -nn

### -fn

### -a
              containing metacharacters are quoted.
