## NAME
       grub-mkfont - make GRUB font files

## SYNOPSIS
       **grub-mkfont** [_OPTION_...] [_OPTIONS_] _FONT_FILES_

## DESCRIPTION
       Convert common font file formats into PF2

### -a --force-autohint
              force autohint

### -b --bold
              convert to bold font

### -c --asce
              set font ascent

### -d --desc
              set font descent

### -i --index
              select face index

### -n --name
              set font family name

### --no-bitmap
              ignore bitmap strikes when loading

### --no-hinting
              disable hinting

### -o --output
              save output in FILE [required]

### -r --range
              set font range

### -s --size
              set font size

### -v --verbose
              print verbose messages.

       -?, **--help**
              give this help list

### --usage
              give a short usage message

### -V --version
              print program version

       Mandatory or optional arguments to long options are also mandatory or optional for any corre‐
       sponding short options.
