When the\nkey filename is set, it will be used to parse and set the format. Otherwise if the format\nkey is set it will be validated and used to set the format.\n\n$f->setfromparts($major[, $minor[, $variant]])\nSets the source format from its parts. The $major part is mandatory. The $minor and $variant\nparts are optional.\n\nNotice: This function performs no validation.\n\n($major, $minor, $variant) = $f->set($format)\nSets (and validates) the source $format specified. Will return the parsed format parts as a\nlist, the optional $minor and $variant parts might be undef.\n\n($major, $minor, $variant) = $f->get()\n$format = $f->get()\nGets the source format, either as properly formatted scalar, or as a list of its parts,\nwhere the optional $minor and $variant parts might be undef.\n\n$count = $f->parse($fh, $desc)\nParse the source format string from $fh, with filehandle description $desc.\n\n$count = $f->load($filename)\nParse $filename contents for a source package format string.\n\n$str = $f->output([$fh])\n\"$f\"\nReturns a string representing the source package format version.
