## NAME
       dvitomp - convert a TeX DVI file to a MetaPost MPXFILE

## SYNOPSIS
       **dvitomp** [_OPTIONS_] _dvifile_[**.dvi**] [_mpxfile_[**.mpx**]]

       **mpost** **--dvitomp** _dvifile_[**.dvi**] [_mpxfile_[**.mpx**]]

## DESCRIPTION
       **dvitomp** translates the given _dvifile_ to a MetaPost MPXFILE.  The default _mpxfile_ is the base‐
       name of _dvifile_ extended with **.mpx**.

## OPTIONS
### -help

### -version
              output version information and exit.
