订阅Lucene开发邮件列表的朋友已经感觉了一次邮件轰炸：约有700封来自Lucene相关的Bugzilla的相关更新。仔细一看原来是邮件列表的地址由原先的：lucene-dev@jakarta.apache.org 改成了： java-dev@lucene.apache.org

Lucene在年初（2005-02）成为Apache的顶级项目：luene.apache.org。而做为原先蜘蛛和分布式引擎的Nutch于本月(2005-06)初也做为子项目之一加入Lucene：lucene.apache.org/nutch/ 并列的有原先基于java的Lucene和基于C实现的Lucene这2个项目。

回顾一下Lucene的历史：无一不说明全文搜索服务做为网络基础服务得到越来越多的重视。

从CHANGES.txt看：Lucene成为Apache项目是2001年的十月份。 1.2 RC1 (first Apache release), 2 October 2001:

• packages renamed from com.lucene to org.apache.lucene
• license switched from LGPL to Apache

希望有更多的中文开发者能主动参与Lucene的开发：从我的经验来看，即使主动参与，很多代码都不一定能很快被Lucene的主干所接受，往往需要在SandBox中考察很长一段时间。而谁参与的更多：谁的需求就有可能更早被实现/改进，中文方面的需求是必须由中文开发者自己加以努力才能改进的。

2005-06-26 You guys have a ton of bugs in Bugzilla that are sitting in RESOLVED:

I suspect most of them could easily be closed.

The mailbomb that arrived a little while ago was the ownership change of all bugs assigned to lucene-dev@jakarta.apache.org, to java-dev@lucene.apache.org per request from Otis Gospodnetic. I only changed the ownership of open bugs.

Please don’t leave bugs hang in a non-closed state.
